The Age of #Facebook: Excerpts
DOODEE!! Don't miss this article on TechCrunch which includes excerpts from David Kirkpatrick's book The Age of Facebook. Sounds friggen AWESOME!! I'm not going to lie, I was a bit hesitant about the whole Facebook movie thing last year, but wow - now I'm dying to know how he's getting all this done.
I just sent out a very passionate email to someone that I hope can do something with this ... but you guys have NO idea what it takes to launch a brand, and website. Wait a minute, I'm talking to the nerdy folk, of course you guys know ... but to what degrees?!? I mean wow. This shiznat is LOCO!!! The pressure is just off the walls bananas, and having corporate sponsors up the wazoo but can't even pay rent? Venture capitalists zooming around you like a virgin in 13th century Ecuador. THIS is entertainment!!! These are the stories that need to be told ... I don't know, am I too involved? Or is this something you guys would be interested in seeing?

“Maybe you should just sell a piece of the company to us,” Wolf replied. “Then you can have one for yourself.”
Wolf invited his guest to sit in the jump seat in the cockpit as the powerful jet landed at Westchester. When it pulled up to the private aviation terminal, two cars were waiting. One was Wolf’s corporate sedan to drive him into the city. The other was the Zuckerberg family minivan, from which Mark’s parents emerged. They beamed and gave their son a big hug. It was as if he were merely coming home from a semester at college.
