Little search engine that couldn't?

Do you think Twitter could really bring down Google? We all know about search.twitter, keyword monitoring, widgets created via listings etc ... For anything real time my first instinct is always Twitter. However, when I am looking for some credible information, not necessarily time sensitive, I still go to Google.

Something tells me that Google must be feeling threatened to release this video. What do you think?
