And now ... Deep Thoughts with That Nerdy Chick

There are all these cliches in life about going with the flow, and letting things just be- but just because we've heard them a million times doesn't mean they are any less relevant.

I've never blended in with the crowd, I've always stuck out like a sore thumb. I've had a face full of freckles since the womb, and my eyes are almost x-ray blue; let alone the nerdy factor that I dug playing around with a computer a lot more than making my barbies have sex.

The last year has absolutely changed my life. I stopped listening to what other people said, followed my heart, and did what felt "right" (the word right as defined by whatever feels damn good and appropriate to my given situation). We have all these people in life that tell us what to do when in fact they might be completely clueless! I denied my inner-nerd forever because people around me kept saying that it was just "so not LA." I was told that guys didn't want to feel inferior to a smart chick. First off, I know i can be rather intimidating at times ... however any guy that can't keep up with my brain isn't worthy of a minute of my time anyway! I spent so much time and energy trying to contort and conform myself to get people to see my value, when my going rate was already off the charts!

I spent 24 years trying to deny this big portion of myself, which only made me crazier. The year and some change that I broadcasted live on LiveVideo absolutely changed everything for me. I got to just be ME! In my rawest form, examining human nature with over 500,000 fellow freaks from around the world. Talk about eye opening!

I don't know where I'm going in life but I can say this, by denying your true self, you are denying yourself of living an authentic life and therefore denying yourself of happiness. All things in life should come easily because you're naturally good at them. You're allowing all these experiences into your life because you're being completely open and free to new experiences. We have everything we will ever need inside of us. We just need to stand back, stop being victims of our own success, and let things be.

In marketing they say you need to hear things seven times before you really "get it," so how many times do we have to hear it in the game of life?

... Can you hear me now?
