#Adventures in Adventuring: Hello from #SDCC!!!

A hoi hoi nerderinos!!!

I'm at COMIC CON!!!!! YAY!! See ... this is me ... Terry Jacobs ... haha literally ...

This duderino from OKC and I totally started talking, and he just so happened to have a plus 1 for Comic Con (he started reading the site so this was more of a hey, I'm sure you're going, but if you wanna meet up type thing). I was all DUDE!!! OMGGG!! I would LOVE a pass!!

So he hooked me up, ANNNDDD he offered for me to ride down with him and his friends in his creepy van.

HAHA that's not it literally - but he does drive a white van with a racing stripe, AND he has a bullhorn that shoots music out of the back with this thingie majigger ...

Oh and looky what was above the passenger seat ...

Dude, this car was PIMP!

He actually took those off, sanded, primed, and painted them. Crafty little nerderino.

His two friends were super cool too - one was from the UK the other is from Down Undah ... I love love love getting to kick it with new people, and hearing their stories. Total awesome sauce.

SOOOOOOOOO!!! Tonight, I am going to head out to the Robert Rodriguez fiesta. Not quite sure what's going down - I'm seriously the last one to plan anything ever. I'm too go with the flow of it all and make it work.

Comic Con seriously scares me though. Don't get me wrong, I love getting to meet so many of you guys, and hanging out - but everything. here. is. shiny. I have hardcore ADD ... it's like BRAAAIINNN MEELLLTTDOOOWWNNNN.

I can't handle that much stimulation - it sounds kinda funny, but it's not. 250,000 people in costumes in like a 3 block radius ... PLUS all the displays; epic fail. I slept for like a week after last Comic Con. Oh here's the vid btw. Apparently they make you login to view it, which is lame ... but it has some super rad celebs I got to meet last year.

Dudes, Zachary Levi is seriously the nicest human being on the planet. I still have the shirt he gave me ... ugh!! Love him long time.

But yah! I'm here!! =) Come say hi!! oh my goodness, I totes just had the beejebus scared out of me too. I have this sign on the back of my laptop ...

It's the same one I used at CES (which btw, I had an extra 2,000 uniques in 24 hours just by holding this thing while walking around. Seriously ... it cost like $4.00 to use the kinkos computer, print out, AND laminate. SUCH a great deal). But yeah, I put it on the back of my macbook pro with scotch tape so while I'm sitting in the press room people can at least say hi, or whatevs. I figured there were a whole lotta eyeballs to begin with wandering around the room, might as well give them something to look at!

Well, it totally worked ...

HAHAHA he didn't say hi or anything - just tweeted me. Mind you, of course I totally forgot I had said sign on the back of my macbook pro. I ran up to him and asked what software he had to figure out that was me in front of him ... he started laughing and pointed to the sign.

Yep, that moment happened. High-larious. Jen Jen is an IDIOOTTT!! hahahaha so. much. fun.

But yah! If you guys wanna say hi, feel free to follow my tweets - @JenFriel or follow my checkins on Foursquare: Foursquare.com/jenfriel

If your eyes hit this site, I'd love to say thank you and kick it. So let's get it on!! WAHOO!!

And lmk too if anyone needs passwords to any of the press rooms or whatevs. I can't guarantee you access, but I can at least run out and give you guys the passwords in case you wanna get online. =) =) =) YAYY!!
