#E3 Day 1 Recap
#TalkNerdyToMeLover's @Violent_Gamer
Wow what a day! It was our first time ever to the Electronic Entertainment Expo and we were like two kids going to Disneyland for the first time. Back in the day, going to E3 was just a dream and now, because of this site, it has become a reality! CRAZY!

It was overwhelming entering the front gates and seeing the mass of hardcore gamers, developers and media all waiting to get their hands on the big titles set to release for the year. Once we entered the main hall, we were bombarded by big screens and trailers from all the major gaming companies displaying their upcoming releases. I don't know how many times we both said "Ooooh we gotta check that out!" and "OH MY GOD WHAT THE HELL IS THAT??".
After making our way around we were able to get our hands on just a few of the games we were looking forward to such as: Orcs Must Die!, Starhawk, Twisted Metal, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City and Dark Souls just to name a few.  All the larger titles had extremely long lines, so we did our best just to get as much content as possible for the day.  During the next two days we will be covering more of the bigger titles like Battlefield 3, RAGE, Elder Scrolls: Skyrim and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

One of the big stories that made a lot of buzz today was Nintendo's press conference, showing off their new console the "Wii U". One of the main features of the new console is the design of their new controller which features a 6.5 inch touch screen, a built in camera and functionality with each game. Nintendo also promised big title releases for the Wii U upon launch and said the hardware will be able to support all of the graphically demanding games the original Wii could not. It was indeed impressive and left many curious to see what kind of content the console will support.
Overall all it was a fantastic experience! Tomorrow we will be focused on getting more hands on time with games and hopefully test out the new Nintendo console. Make sure to check back here frequently and let us know what titles you want to hear about before the show ends!
