This week I made a surprise visit tooooo.... KENTUCKY! Well and Evansville, Indiana, where I went to college. I came back to surprise my Mema (thats southern for grandmother incase) and her 83rd birthday and also to have my super awesome "I wear dicks" for clothing bachelorette party with all my lovely girlfriends. Oh, but before I left town I got to hang out with my friend David from SEGA! Its actually the first time we met, we've been twitter friends for a bit. Hanging out with him and his friends from work really makes me feel like I need to get in a new career that I feel I am changing myself and doing something with my life. Porn is... fun, but mind numbing. I wish my gaming nerd lovers lived closer :(
The party was great.... I think. I know I started the night wearing a tutu, tiara, and a septure all covered in dicks. I got to see my best friend Kristina from Louisville, funny story about her we met on makeoutclub.com 9 years ago before it was cool, although we've never made out, we just listening to the get up kids and picked up dudes together. Amber, my best lady bud in the world. and the oh so awesome Makenzie whom i did make out with by the end of the night, well a little more than that....(SCORE!)
Funniest part of the party was a drunk girl came up to me and asked about my wedding and plans for the evening, my reply was getting laid, which threw her off.... Understandably haha but she thought it was an awesome idea....as did I ;)
The night was so much fun, drinking, making out-ing, and memories. I really miss the genuine friendships you have in the south, its unlike LA totally. Real people that care.
Then my family and I went to Cracker Barrel for my memas birthday party and included chocolate cake and biscuits and gravy. 83 and going strong.
Now I have to get up and fly home in the morning... New home. LA and my new life and husband. Very strange to be starting a new life 2000 miles from everything Ive ever know. Kentucky feels less and less like home but my friendship mean more and more to me.
