Is it really better to be paranoid than to be dead?
I just read this comment on CNN in regards to the second package found in Times Square today. "I'd rather be paranoid than dead."
I might have to disagree with you on that one ...
I believe they are actually one in the same.
When you are parnoid, you are living in a constant state of fear.
Fear causes irrational thinking.
Fear lets others control and manipulate you.
Fear makes you like this little puppet ...
see ...
now you're a puppet.
That's not good.
When someone else is pulling your strings you are not following your own heart, and what feels good to you - you are merely dictating what you thinks needs to be done. That is the good boy/ good girl syndrome. It doesn't feel very good. When you let others tell you what is right and wrong, and what is good and what is bad - you are also placing your value and overall worth in someone else's hands. That causes tremendous heartbreak as we can never control what the other person is thinking/ doing ... whatever.
That level of heartbreak prevents you from actually living life because you are constantly wasting energy living the life you THINK you need to lead to please the people that are pulling your strings.
Here's a pair of scissors ...
Cut yourself free. Stop living the life you think you need to lead, and start leading the one that feels good. Fear is death. Death is no good ... Time to live life!!
