Wild Card Boxing Gym = Unapologetically #Awesome!!
The Unapologetically Awesome Spring/ Summer 2010 Tour continued this week with a stop off at the Wild Card Boxing Gym. I got to hang out with Pepper Roach and Steve Ferrone (who btw will be performing on SNL this Saturday!!!!). Dude they even took me to breakfast afterwards. How friggen cool!!!
It's pretty gnarly, I asked Steve how a "studio musician" (as he likes to call himself), books his gigs. He explained that it was no different than any other band. Artists will approach him and ask him to guest spot on their record, tour etc .. I guess in the back of my mind I imagined the label would request each musician, and look uberly important and angry in some sort of power suit.
Alas, my visual was wrong.
