Upon my facebook travels this week, I came across a very interesting post from an old housemate of mine. Not unlike myself, Tony, my housemate from many years ago is a total revhead! Loves cars, loves motorsports and even races on the odd weekend in a totally gnarly Corolla race car. Many a night was spent up late watching Formula One and drinking sufficient amounts of alcohol! It was therefore no surprise for me to read his post and his dramatic exclamation that he had pimped his missus’ car! Yep Tony had apparently installed a big V8 into his wife’s standard Toyota Camry. I was in awe. I knew he was the sort of guy to be crazy enough to try something like this. I also wondered what his wife thought of this? Then I watched the video attached to his post. Suddenly I was in nerdy heaven. My mind began to think of all the possibilities. Was it this easy to make a small engined car a V8? I can put a V8 in my little Mitsubishi Mirage! The Ford Fiesta can even sound as tough as a monster truck! Is this all possible without your wife wanting a divorce? Apparently my friends it is! I therefore had to share this technological expertise with you all.
