6th grade festival performance turns into #YouTube sensation ...
Wooahh ... my old dear friend Kate just posted this on Facebook - and my jaw literally dropped.
This is my jaw ... dropping ...
Meet Greyson Michael ...
(Per NY Daily News): Greyson Michael Chance better get ready to fend off his own paparazzi.
The 12-year-old Oklahoma school boy has become a YouTube sensation with his rendition of Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi."
Chance was filmed performing the song on the piano at an Edmond middle school's "Chorus Performance Night."
His spot-on vocals and adept key strokes impressed the crowd of mostly teen girls - it probably didn't hurt that Chance also has Justin Bieberesque good looks.
Though he has posted video of his own songs on his YouTube page (including one called "Stars" and another titled "Broken Hearts), Chance’s heart belongs to Gaga.
"Lady Gaga is a freak but she has so much talent and her style of music is what I would like mine to be when im older," he wrote on his YouTube page.
So far Chance's YouTube video has received over 1 million hits and earned him a Facebook fan club.
Even Hollywood has come calling - Ellen DeGeneres invited Chance to perform on her show this Thursday.
"Never been more excited to have someone on my show," the host wrote on Twitter Tuesday.
