Put down the ego, Pick up the HUSTLE!

Big. Big. BIG! Day TODAY!!! Dude, TNTML is going to have office space. No really ... like an office/ studio/ epic place of unapologetic awesomeness!!! I am going to be assisting in the launch of this uber cool new web magazine - and el duderino in charge of that wants to take all of our crazy creativity and make it more structured!!

I launched the site on my roommate's bed ... then I upgraded to posts on my own desk in my bedroom ... NOW, we're moving into a HUGE office/ studio in downtown LA?! ARE. YOU. FRIGGEN. KIDDING??!!? And oh yeah - we're only 5 months old ... and OH YEAH, I hustle like a mofo!

Put down the ego and just pick up the hustle. This shiznat is SOOOOOOO easy!!! All you have to do is ASK! I said very bluntly in my meeting today, I need money. I am theoretically worth a lot of money, but the dollar amount on the invoice is only as good as the money behind it. My rent is still 5 days late, and I am STILL chasing down invoices. WTF?! My phone got shut off, I have no groceries, I mean this starving artist crap is for the BIRDS! I work my BUTT off - but I REFUSE to stop ... and I REFUSE to work for anyone who approaches me saying they want to be the "next big thing." Dude, you already ARE the next big thing?! What do you need me for? We have inside of us the answer to any question we've ever had in life. No really, EVERY. SINGLE. QUESTION. We just have to be humble enough to realize it, and clearly communicate our bottom line. My bottom line right now is I need cash. Seriously, and *pooffff* It appeared! I'm not even kidding!? I only had to ask!!! WTF?!

We're taught to work hard, we're taught that good things come to those who wait - when in actuality really good things can only come to those who HUSTLE. Every day I hustle this site, and EVERY DAY I tell more and more people about it. The content speaks for itself, but getting the word out is a mission of unapologetically awesome proportions. I have ABSOLUTELY no shame, and living life that honestly and matter of fact is the only thing that has ABSOLUTELY made all of this happen.

Be specific. What do you want? Don't focus on how you're going to do it - being present and exploring current opportunities will do that for you.

Stop waiting to be "discovered." Eff that shiznat man. You MAKE things happen, they won't be handed to you. Stop waiting for other people to "help out" or "do something for you." People are inspired by action. You just keep up the hustle, and people will naturally come through.

There's nothing "wrong" with having money!! DUDE!! Why are we all so afraid to friggen ask for money?! There is no such thing as right or wrong, and us digital peeps work our BUTTS off for our clients, and yet it feels awkward chasing invoices. There is NOTHING awkward about it. Go. Get. That. $$$!!! Be unapologetic about it! You deserve it!!

Get off your butt, and go get your dream. It's right there ... waiting for you. GO. GET. IT!
