Now, Now #FiestaMovement Agents ... be nice to the press ... No #VIP

SOO!! I got a loverly email from our publicist in the Fiesta Movement the other day. Great chickadee, can't wait to meet her tonight. However, I have a bit of a wrong rubbing going on over yonder.

She told us that we needed to be nice to members of the press we speak to tonight. (Oh yeah, we're throwing a HUGE party @Happy Endings!!! Come say hi!!) It was also noted in the email that members of the press like to be treated in a special VIP area.

I have only one response to that ... YEAAHHHHHHH RIGHHHTTT!!!!!!

I love everyone in life unconditionally. It's a thing - life is reflective. I treat EVERYONE the same, which is kind of common sense anyway, but COME ON! You want me to kiss your @ss? Why? Because you're going to print something nice about me? Dude, print what you want to print. I really could not care less. No for reals, I Could. Not. Care. Less. People are going to believe what they are going to believe. You cannot control it, and I am CERTAINLY not going to kiss your @ss about it.

That is one of the most amazing things about working in social media. You can FULLY comprehend how much things have changed, and how much power each and every one of us has. I don't care about being cool, or coming off to members of the press a certain way. I'm a nerd through and through. Love me, or leave me - I'm still going to be unapologetically awesome - as are YOU! =) So stop trying, please don't kiss my @ss - I know it's nice and all ... but for reals, you be you ... I'll be me, let's be AWESOME!
