Just got back from my first session … and holy fucking shit … I got my ass kicked. Like seriously, this is so hard for me. I’ve never been out of shape. Right now, I am the poster child for “before.” It was really uncomfortable. I just felt disgusting … and dude, I’m NEVER like that. It was a bit jarring recognizing just how UNBELIEVABLY out of shape I am. To feel the blood pumping through my body like that was INTENSE.
It sucks … I can’t believe I let myself get this out of shape. Wow. Wow. Wow. It sucks too having boxed in the past, because I know for a FACT that I could have done that workout in my sleep. To be purple … not even red … PURPLE during the WARM UP was insane. Totally insane.
I walked for 20 mins after just so my muscles wouldn’t get all spazie, and I just drank 8 oz of chocolate milk. Did you know you were supposed to drink skim milk after a workout? It’s proven to help you not only burn more fat, but build muscle. Insane …had no idea, but I’m learning.
Thanks a lot Mark for the workout! HAHA the dude thought I was nuts when I told him what I do … and how I’ve survived. He started trippin like, omg how can I do that with what I do and yada yada yada. It’s amazing. I’m so glad it just shakes people up that ANYYYTHIINNNGGGGG is possible in this world. There really are no limitations, ESPECIALLY with social media where everyone is just a search and click away. Crazy – and he loved it.
