Facebook relationship statuses get more PC … but not apple
Last year, after noticing that every time I clicked on someone’s Facebook page, and they were married, I would click on the spouse’s profile. I thought, why not do that with TNTML and sync the RSS feed through the notes so more people are exposed to the content. Of course, Facebook issues a red flag to accounts with more than two names – so I just kept it at “Talk Nerdy” to fly a bit more under the radar.
Well, last Friday, Facebook updated their relationship status options to reflect gay marriage by adding “in a civil union,” and “in a domestic partnership.” TNTML being ALLLLLLL about equality, I figured might as well reflect that on my Facebook profile as well.
WAHOOO!!
Wanna know how to change your relationship status?
Go to Edit Profile in the upper right hand corner of your page.
Click on it.
Select Featured People.
And voila!
Just make sure you accept it on the other account as well, as it won’t go through otherwise.
