CafePress Vs. Spreadshirt
Jeeze luise! I think I’m going to have to bring in a one-eyed monkey to help out with all the emails we over here at TNTML have been getting!!
My response time is comparable to a paraplegic’s attempt at whack-a-mole.
Anywhoodle, I got this one the other day … and unfortunately I just got around to posting it …
It says … and I QUOTE:
I’ve been following you for a few months now, saw you on UStream one day under Mobile!
Anyway, My daughter has Cystic Fibrosis and we have started an online presence for her and her fight with the disease (www.JustBreatheForJay.com) We are going to start a line of clothing and I noticed you’re using spreadshirt. I’m curious why you chose that sight instead of a more popular one like cafepress?
Thanks for you time. We really enjoy following you.
First off, really sorry to hear about your daughter. An old friend of my mother’s niece (still following that …) had CF. And wow – that one is unbearable. Please support Just Breathe for Jay nerdy folk.
K … now onto CafePress v. SpreadShirt ..
I never liked CafePress. Their shirts SCREAM cheap. It is an easy way for a blogger/ vlogger/ whatever to get their name out there to establish brand awareness. However, as we all know, the nerdy folk are picky!! I don’t want my designs on pieces of crap. I’m not a piece of crap – and life is reflective!!!
SpreadShirt is easy to use, and as far as the designs I have seen, look WAY better than CafePress. I have yet to do a side by side comparison of the same exact design … however, after consulting with nerds far and wide – SpreadShirt seemed like the better option. =)
Hope this helps! Thanks for the email! #NerdsUnite
